The Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM) is seeking a dynamic and innovative Department Administrator (DA), who will lead our department into its next growth phase. In the last five years we have doubled our clinical volume, increased to three clinical sites, grown our faculty group to 50+, doubled the residency program size, introduced multiple fellowships, started an active advanced practice provider program, and have significantly increased research activities (now ranked 20th for NIH funding).
The ideal candidate has strong financial, strategic, and people management skills. The DA, working with five key Directors (HR, Finance, Clinical Operations, Education, and Research), will provide senior leadership for the academic department of emergency medicine.
