The Director of Organizational Efficiency develops, manages and integrates a comprehensive Performance Improvement (PI) Program that will produce increased efficiency, improved patient safety and satisfaction, elimination of waste, higher levels of provider and employee engagement, and value to CVCH and its patients.
Serves as the Performance Improvement (LEAN) Subject Matter Expert, Educator, and Champion for CVCH.
Insures spread of LEAN throughout the organization so that each Department can eventually use LEAN tools independent of the Director of Organizational Efficiency.
Spearhead a cultural shift towards value-added work and waste elimination.
Collaborates with Leadership, providers, and staff.
Responsible for coordinating and managing organization-wide performance improvement activities.
Insures that changes are hard-wired and maintained across CVCH.
Ensure execution and communication of overall Performance Improvement efforts by CVCH.
Develops and maintains tools that will assist in implementation, communication, and tracking of Organizational Efficiency projects.
Works with providers and Leadership to reduce variability in care delivery resulting in increased patient safety and decreased costs to both patients and CVCH.
Assume other responsibilities as requested by the CEO.
Minimum Position Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of Management experience in an outpatient clinical setting such as primary or specialty care.
A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience. (Nursing preferred)
A minimum of 2 years of experience in performance improvement and Lean Management.
Demonstrated experience in maintaining effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients, and public.
Demonstrated skill in planning, organizing, supervising, exercising initiative, problem solving, and decision making.
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal relationship skills with a focus on team building.
