This is an exciting opportunity to join the fastest growing entity within the Duke Health System, providing strategic and operational leadership of 5-7 primary care practices. Each practice is led by a Practice Manager, who reports to the regional administrator. There are approximately 100+ staff employees and 40+ providers. Additionally, this position is 1 of 7 Regional Administrators in the organization.
The Regional Administrator provides broad strategic and administrative direction for policies, procedures, services and programs for a multiple-site region of ambulatory clinics; supervise Health Center Administrators; participate in the analysis, planning and strategy formulation of Duke Primary Care goals. The Regional Practice Administrator will partner with Clinic leadership along with the Regional Medical Director and Senior Leadership to deliver on organizational objectives. This key team leader collaborates with other team leaders to understand their challenges and needs and then develops and implements thoughtful programs and solutions. The ideal candidate is someone who can direct and mentor practice leaders as well as work in the weeds when necessary to assist their direct reports in meeting their practice objectives.
