Anesthesia Practice Manager, Revenue Cycle
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Anesthesia Practice Management and is responsible for managing the relationship with anesthesia clients (internal and external) of HCFS.
- Develops and maintains positive client relations and coordinates with various functions within HCFS to ensure client requests are handled timely and appropriately.
Regularly conducts client meetings to review accounts receivable performance, payer issues and trends, and client’s business strategies related to revenue cycle.
- Prepares, analyzes and presents client management reports. Reviews operational reports and identifies disparities, issues, efficiencies, and additional reporting needs.
Works closely with VP of Anesthesia Practice Management to support M&A activities.
Participates in NAPC review, revenue recognition and projections.
Works with Billing Centers, HCFS Applications, and Programming in development of reporting needs and analytical tools.
Provides analysis of revenue cycle operations to include billing, collections, denials, AR and other statistics.
Monitors escalated issues to ensure appropriate resolution.
Work closely with Managed Care, Contract Management and Billing Center on issue resolution for over and under allowed payments.
Interface with Anesthesia CSVPs regarding client satisfaction and patient complaints.
Performs other related duties and works on special projects as requested by senior management.

This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
