| The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Radiology with a focus on Thoracic Imaging. Responsibilities include clinical service as well as supervision and training of residents and fellows. The position involves interpretation of digital radiographs and state-of-the-art CT scans, performance of chest biopsies, and, to a lesser extent, cardiovascular CT and MRI. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Applicants must be American Board of Radiology eligible or certified and must have completed fellowship training in thoracic radiology. |
The section interprets over 110,000 examinations a year. Clinical coverage will be provided at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, and Pennsylvania Hospital, as well as affiliated outpatient imaging centers, including off-hour call. Applicants must be American Board of Radiology eligible or certified and must have completed fellowship training in thoracic radiology.
Academic Clinician track applicants will focus primarily on providing quality patient care and education through teaching residents and fellows.
