The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service staff physiatrist reports to the Chief, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service and will work along side a multidisciplinary team of pain management staff within the Pain Management Department.The pain management physician will work within a high functioning interprofessional pain team to treat patients with chronic pain with a focus on improving function. Physical medicine approaches are used to support the improvement of function and participation in comprehensive pain care treatments including physical activation and cognitive and behavioral therapies. Prior experience within an interdisciplinary pain rehabilitation program and experience with musculoskeletal ultrasound are highly preferred.
This position will work in the Pain Clinic of the facility.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Alternative hours maybe available)

*Citizenship. U.S. Citizenship required
*Education. A Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalenet degree from approved schools. Schools of medicine holding regular institutional members in the Association of American Medical Colleges accepted by the licensing body of a State, Territory, or Commonwealth, or in the District of Columbia.
*Licensure. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
*Board Certified/Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation preferred.
*Proficient in spoken and written English.
