Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
The Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (VP/CFO) position will serve as a key advisor reporting directly to the CEO and leading the financial operations of Springfield Clinic. The VP/CFO plays a critical role in Springfield Clinic’s ability to continue providing exceptional healthcare services to patients across the region through an innovative financial strategy, organizational growth, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of healthcare finance, value-based care, and regulatory compliance the unique opportunities and challenges facing independent medical groups. The VP/CFO recognizes the unique opportunities and challenges that are presented to privately owned, independent medical groups with proven success in that model. Additionally, the right candidate has demonstrable leadership in the areas of revenue integrity, general and patient accounting, purchasing, internal audit and corporate compliance.

Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of financial leadership experience, with at least 2 years in a senior executive role within the healthcare setting. Independent medical group experience necessary.
- Proven track record of driving financial performance and delivering strategic growth in a healthcare setting to include a strong understanding of value-based care models, healthcare reimbursement, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to think strategically, solve complex financial problems, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
