Northwell Health is seeking a Division Chief of Pediatric Radiology at Northwell Health, who will also serve as Chief, Radiology at Cohen's Children's Medical Center. This is a unique career opportunity to lead a thriving academic radiology department in one of the nation's largest health systems.
Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O degree and be board certified in Diagnostic Radiology. The candidate must also have completed a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology, CAQ certified and qualified for licensure in New York. Expertise in all areas of Pediatric Radiology (except Neuroradiology) is a must. The ideal candidate will be an associate or full professor level with appropriate leadership and clinical experience.
The Pediatric Radiology division is a growing group of 5 dedicated pediatric radiologists. There are two new dedicated Pediatric MR machines (1.5T and 3T), two CT scanners, two new Siemens flat panel fluoroscopy unit, and 3 ultrasound suites. There are Pediatric Ultrasound technologists 24-hours a day. A new separate Pediatric Neuroradiology division has also been established, which includes two dedicated Pediatric Neuroradiologists.

The Cohen Children's Medical Center (CCMC) of New York is a 202-bed tertiary pediatric hospital performing approximately 70,000 examinations a year. It is the largest provider of pediatric health services in New York State and serves 1.8 million children in Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island's Nassau and Suffolk counties. There is a new inpatient hospital with a state-of-the-art Emergency Department. It is a Level I Pediatric trauma Center and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. There is a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Bone Marrow Transplant unit.
