What You Will Learn
- As part of the Product Development & Clinical Research team, you will have the opportunity to drive clinical innovation from concepts to completion and bring forth new knowledge of the efficacy of various skincare products, addressing different skin conditions.
- Manage clinical studies to evaluate efficacy of skincare products - including developing study designs and protocols, plus implementing operational and monitoring procedures to ensure patient safety and data integrity.
- Act as primary contact with key stakeholders, such as key opinion leaders and contract research organizations/vendors, for contracts negotiation, shipping of investigational products, samples, clinical trial supplies and equipment.
- Lead studies close outs and evaluations of statistical analysis, data review, interpretations, and conclusions of results, plus communications to key internal stakeholders within timelines.
- Assist in the development of related scientific communications, including but not limited to, abstracts, posters, presentations, and publications to share clinical studies results.
- Assist in literature search to share new relevant publications and summarize key findings for clinical innovation and product development.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant working experience; OR Masters with 1-3 years of relevant working experience; preferred areas of study include the life and social sciences.
- Relevant, transferable experience including clinical or scientific training, academic research, and regulatory/scientific work experience. A background in skin/skincare/dermatology and/or product development is preferred.
- Research experience with clinical study design, monitoring, methodology development and analyzing scientific/clinical research data a must. Knowledge of statistical analysis/software a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively share clinical results with relevant stakeholders.
- Project management experience with multiple projects and varying priorities with high level of detail a must.
- Ability to think creatively and conceptually.
- Collaborative, resourceful with strong analytical and problem resolution skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
