Looking for a Clinical Manager to join a well-established Pediatric practice serving the Sandy Springs / Atlanta community for over 50 years. Job responsibilities would include but not limited to:

1. Trains and supervises clinical staff to ensure back office runs efficiently and effectively, and clinical policies and procedures are followed. Check off all new employees on proper procedures for all clinical duties. Recheck employees who occasionally have to perform these duties outside their normal workday.

 

 

2. Ensure office is appropriately staffed when employees are out due to vacations, may have to cover for employees as needed.

 

3. Manage EMR templates- making edits as necessary and creating new ones as needed with physician input.

 

4. Complete clinical schedule weekly for following week to ensure appropriate coverage for physicians in the office. Assign late nights to ensure coverage for after hours.

 

5. Monitor phone nurses to ensure appropriate documentation of phone calls, advice given. Assist and retrain when necessary.

 

6. Ensure clinical staff completes GRITS, forms, clean and stock rooms, etc

 

7. Ensure Lab Supervisor keeps lab up to CLIA standards.

 

8. Maintain lab equipment to ensure leases are maximized and equipment is in working order. Negotiate contracts for new equipment.

 

9. Manage staff payroll to ensure completed correctly and timely, monitor tardy and PTO Via Paylocity.

 

10. Ensure office meets OSHA standards and perform annual training. Attend annual training to keep current on any changes.

 

11. Oversee and ensure compliance with VFC requirements, vaccine, and medical supply ordering.

 

12. Monitor clinical staff compliance with both clinical and personnel policy and procedures.

 

13 Monitor and assist with updating all policies and procedures for office as needed.

 

14. Cross train with Practice Administrator.

 

15. Attend KHF/TCCN meetings and other developmental meetings, GPPMA, etc.

 

16. Act as a public relations agent for the practice and physicians when dealing with patients, parents, vendors, promoting a feeling of cooperation and concern.

 

17. Performs other duties as assigned by the Physicians.
