Join our dynamic and growing OB-GYN practice, where we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Medical Practice Administrator to lead our administrative operations and contribute to the continued growth and success of our practice.

Reports to: Physician owners/Board of Directors

Job Summary:  As the Medical Practice Administrator, you will provide leadership and direction of all operations of our OB-GYN practice. The Practice Administrator assists the Physician Shareholders in strategies to support the growth and development of the practice, practice governance, business development activities, revenue, and policy enforcement. In addition, you will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Core Responsibilities and Skills & Expectations

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the OB-GYN practice, including scheduling, staffing, training, and performance evaluations. Ensures best practices are implemented and maintained throughout the organization.
  • Inform the Board of Directors of any current trends or issues.
  • Oversees scheduling, patient flow, and office logistics to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Participates in meetings with management with updates. Ensure open communication and maintain professionalism while fostering a healthy work environment.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant standards.
  • Manage financial operations, including budgeting, billing, and accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and service delivery.
  • Analyze and report on practice performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.
  • Drive initiative to grow the practice, including marketing and community outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical practice management, preferably in an OB-GYN or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
