Focused and headquartered in the Southeast AQUA Dermatology is the largest and most comprehensive full-service skin care provider in the southeast. We offer medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, vein care, plastic surgery, and radiation oncology. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Chief Operating Officer to join our growing team to manage a group of dermatology practices in the Alabama and Georgia markets. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Regional COO will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the operational performance of our dermatology clinics across designated regions.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong background in healthcare practice operations management with a proven track record for driving growth and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to regional clinic operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and standards.
  • Oversee operations of multiple dermatology clinics throughout AL and GA. 
  • Ability to travel 30-50% to clinics throughout AL and GA markets.
  • Monitor financial performance, budget adherence, and revenue across clinics within the region.
  • Work closely with the Executive team to develop and execute strategic plans for regional growth and expansion.
  • Implement efficient processes and workflows to optimize patient flow, minimize wait times, and enhance overall clinic efficiency.
  • Establish KPI’s and metrics to measure clinic performance and operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze performance and data trends to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with regulatory teams to stay updated on industry regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to support professional growth and development within the regional operations teams.
  • Evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, and demographic shifts to identify opportunities for expansion, partnerships, and market differentiation.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field. Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent field preferred.
  • 5+ years in Senior Executive experience in practice management.
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-site healthcare administration, clinic management and/or specialty practices.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence, improving efficiencies, and achieving financial targets.
  • Strong strategic business and financial acumen with the multi-site P&L budget responsibility.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
