Director - Cancer Center

The Cancer Center Director is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction and operational management of the Cancer Center and Day Hospital.  This role is involved in leading the day-to-day operations, including directing, organizing, planning, staffing and resource management to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.  The Director will collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to promote innovation and excellence in all cancer-related activities.  This role will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans for growth of services, building of physician and network relationships, community partnerships and referrals.

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in health sciences, business or related field of study.
• Minimum of 5 years prior managerial experience in medical group practice management, oncology preferred.
• Strong communication skills both oral and written and the proven ability to successfully lead and motivate a workforce.

Preferred:

• Post graduate degree preferred
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, program development and financial management.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance regulations preferred
• Familiarity with coding
• Familiarity with Hospital Based clinics preferred
