Associate Vice President of Ambulatory Operations

Responsibilities include providing strategic direction and administrative leadership in the continued advancement of capacity and capability of LRHPG to provide greater access to a continuum of comprehensive ambulatory and outpatient services across the community and surrounding areas. This position is tasked with providing clear direction and efficient day-to-day management of the practice division’s operations and performance outcomes. As a leader focused on engaging staff and team members, the AVP will lead the continued development of a high performing, accessible and patient centered ambulatory care environment. This leader will be focused on the consistent delivery of an outstanding patient and provider experience by enhancing standardized, patient-focused processes; establishing performance benchmarks; guiding annual performance improvement activities; and evaluating the performance of administrative leaders across the continuum of outpatient sites.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred), as well as a minimum of 5-7 years experience in a technical/professional role with increasing leadership responsibility. In addition, you must be visionary in thought, and have the ability to think outside the box and develop unique offerings and solutions; open-minded individual that can work collaboratively with various roles and disciplines. Candidates must demonstrate superior knowledge of emerging issues and trends including new technology, reimbursement, managed care and outcomes management, as well a solid record of at least 3 years relevant management/leadership responsibility in a progressive health care organization.
We require strong planning, organization, interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, decision-making, leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution, coaching/mentoring/staff development, and negotiation and conflict resolution skills. A high degree of confidentiality, maturity, tactfulness and business ethics, self-motivation, commitment and integrity is a must, as well as knowledge of the principles of data management. Must be detail-oriented and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
