About Us:

Kane Hall Barry Neurology (KHB) is an independent physician-owned group practice with 12 providers, dedicated Infusion Suites, and Electrodiagnostic Labs. KHB provides a friendly wide range of neurology services in three offices located in Bedford, Keller, and Mansfield, Texas. Our board-certified Neurologists and Nurse Practitioners treat neuropathy, MS, dementia, movement disorders, migraine, and other neurological and neurovascular conditions.

We are in search of an efficient, effective, and compliant Practice Administrator who will oversee all administrative, financial, operational, and regulatory aspects of KHB.

Financially strong, patient-oriented, family-friendly, and long-established Kane Hall Barry Neurology is the practice to lead in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency. Oversee KHB’s operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage KHB’s budget, including monitoring expenses and revenue. Oversee billing, coding, and collection processes to ensure compliance and maximize revenue. Have extensive knowledge about complex healthcare billing. Handle contracts and negotiations with insurance companies, vendors, and other service providers.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and other local, state, and federal laws. Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize legal and financial risks. Handle patient complaints and ensure patient satisfaction.

Technology Management:

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of electronic medical records (EMR) systems, technological equipment, and other technological applications.  Ensure the clinic’s technology meets the needs of both staff and patients. Stay updated on new technologies that could improve clinic operations.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement long-term strategies to grow the clinic and improve its services. Analyze market trends and patient demographics to identify opportunities for expansion or new services. Work with partners and leadership to align KHB’s goals with the broader organizational objectives.

Human Capital Management:

  • Be versed and have a proven track record in provider/ leadership recruitment, development, and retention.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:

  • Develop partnership and leadership with physician partners. Serve as the primary point of contact between the clinic, other healthcare providers, insurers, and stakeholders. Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external partners. Foster relations with referring physicians and community organizations.

Quality Improvement:

  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the clinic. Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and clinic performance. Ensure that the clinic meets accreditation standards and participates in relevant quality programs.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Education:  A bachelor’s or master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field. Experience: At least five (5) years of recent related experience as an Administrator or Chief Operations Officer in a healthcare specialty clinic.

  • Prior experience managing a minimum of $30 million in gross revenue
  • Prior experience managing a minimum of 10 providers/ physicians

Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, patients, and external stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with EMR systems and other healthcare technologies. Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.  

 

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE, NOT REQUIRED:

  • At least two (2) years of related experience in a Neurological setting a BIG PLUS! Proficiency in QuickBooks, Athena, Paychex. Ability to communicate effectively and handle multiple priorities.
