As a Senior Data Visualization Developer, you are at the forefront of healthcare innovation, making it easier than ever before for industry leaders to make data-driven decisions. Your primary responsibility will be to build engaging and user-friendly dashboards in Tableau that tell a story and produce actionable insights.

You will work with a wide variety of healthcare data across several medical specialties and internal support departments, including patient billing and revenue cycle data, patient scheduling and operations data, patient experience data, clinical data, finance data, human resources workforce data, and much more. The opportunities are endless.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys data visualization development, both on the technical side by wrangling data and writing calculations, as well as on the visual side by designing appealing dashboards with extreme attention to detail. This is a full-time position working M-F during normal business hours. The position is based out of our Revo Health Corporate Office in Bloomington, MN with flexibility for work from home and in-office work.

This position will be employed by Revo Health, working closely with Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) and its operating divisions. Essential Functions:
Build dashboards in Tableau Desktop for clients, focused on the Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs), based on documented set of specifications
Come up with creative visualizations and dashboard layouts to meet request specifications
Utilize design and visualization techniques to create dashboards that are engaging and tell a story
Write complex calculations at the database and/or dashboard level
Write custom database queries to join and manipulate data to meet the dashboard requirement needs
Test and validate all calculations, dashboards, and reports prior to release
Review dashboards with Director and other organizational contacts for feedback
Present dashboards for critique review at the organization's analytics workgroups
Maintain knowledge of visualization best practices
Maintain strong understanding of Revo's data warehouses and how to use them
Maintain a basic understanding of internal and external client operations in order to test logic of calculations and reports against operational workflows
Collaborate with, and actively participate in, the organization's analytics workgroups
Provide feedback for other developers on their work when presented for critique review
Work with ASC leadership to spec their analytics requests
Present and train ASC leadership on completed dashboards
Answer ASC leadership questions related to data and/or Tableau
Occasionally participate in community functions relating to outreach events throughout the year
Any and all other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years of professional experience working in data analytics, healthcare, and/or consulting firm
2+ years experience as a Tableau developer
2+ years SQL querying experience
Candidates that have familiarity with Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) operations are strongly desired
If no prior healthcare experience, a strong desire to make a difference in this field is required
Strong, effective communicator with ability to tailor communication to differing audiences
Team oriented and collaborative with the ability to flex in support of changing timelines and deliverables
A problem solver with the demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions and handle confidential information
Environmental Conditions:
Office setting that also embraces a flexible, virtual workplace
Candidates preferred to be onsite 2 days per week, but fully remote is available
To maintain connection with the team while working remotely, employees are expected to have regular access to high-speed Internet connections and turn on video/webcam for the majority of virtual meetings
Occasionally required to travel to other work locations for client or team meetings
