Title: Director of Radiology - Clinical Operations
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Hospital, Management
Location: Kansas City, KS
Schedule: Full-time weekdays, as-needed after hours
Pay: Very competitive based on experience, with an opportunity to earn bonus/commission
Benefits: Generous PTO plus paid holidays, health insurance (medical/vision/dental), generous retirement contributions (8.5%) by employer, relocation assistance, and more!
The Director of Radiology duties to include but not limited to:
-Oversee 6-8 modality managers within the Radiology department.
-Create effective work plans, which include identifying the correct resources, staffing, processes, and space needed by the work unit
-Collaborate with Vice President Health Professions, Sr Director Radiology Services, and others to identify ongoing improvement initiatives.
-Ensure adequate resources, such as needs for staffing, capital, capacity, and support to provide high quality care.
-Promote positive, collaborative, constructive, and professional relationships between Health system departments and Radiology
REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor s degree in Radiologic Technology or related fields
-Master s degree required (Healthcare Admin, MBA, Business, or related field)
-Maintain state required license for Radiology/Imaging professionals
-5-7 years of Management experience in a large Imaging department
