Job Summary
Do you have experience overseeing surgical practices?
The Senior Director of Surgical Practices provides support and oversight to multiple St. Christopher's Hospital for Children (STC) Directors to ensure STC surgical practices provide the highest quality services in a cost effective and efficient manner. In this role, you will:
- Serve as the primary point person for practice management and operations management of all STC surgical practices and interfaces with STC Senior Leadership on both an ad-hoc and standing committee participation basis.
- Provide operational management, budgeting guidance, business analysis, and the development and implementation of programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate organization wide projects and ensure that all practices and Directors are working toward common goals and standardized procedures and processes.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to identify new growth strategies.
- Manage key financial and performance metrics of specialties within physician practices.
- Determine training and development programs for staff along with educating and mentoring current and new employees as needed.
Qualifications
Education Requirements
- Master's Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Master's Degree
Experience
- Relevant leadership experience overseeing surgical practices that includes a strong operational background with strategic growth, policy management, template management, provider contracts, strategic planning, financial management, and employee development
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Office applications
- Project Management skills
