The Senior Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives (PM) assists the Director, Strategic Initiatives in managing complex strategic initiatives and special projects initiated by Satellite Healthcare's Senior Management. As part of the Business Integration function, the PM helps support the integration of new business processes and methods into Satellite Healthcare's core business. This involves actively initiating, following the execution and bringing to closure these projects by preparing, updating and communicating project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and using a wide array of project management tools. The PM is accountable for the total project management process on assigned projects. This includes scheduling meetings, collecting and analyzing relevant data, preparing meeting agenda and minutes, communicating progress and tracking performance to established goals, assuring that the project team meets all deadlines, and maintaining a close effective working relationship with sponsors, customers, vendors, leadership and stakeholders. All employees must work in accordance with Satellite's I-CARE Standards. - Lead multiple projects and facilitate project activities to ensure project specifications and timelines are met;
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure success of a project in a matrix team environment; assemble and manage an interdisciplinary project team throughout the life cycle of the project;
- Effectively utilize project management and process improvement principles and tools to manage resources, improve productivity, reduce costs, maintain or accelerate progress, as well as track compliance with project timeline;
- Develop and finalize complete project plans detailing project objectives, resources, milestones and deliverables;
- Assist with justifications, budget estimates, resource requirements, and presentations to support new project proposals;
- Drive the development of project timelines and manage any changes, such as those that may result from changes in scope or resource constraints;
- Track all project budgets, milestones and deliverables; ensure all milestones are met, and if not, take appropriate corrective actions and notify stakeholders;
- Ensure project team adherence to established project management methodologies and best practices; drive timely and high-quality completion of all milestones and deliverables;
- Provide leadership to resolve action items, coordinate and utilize resources;
- Develop and maintain relationships through effective and timely communication to all stakeholders;
- Manage risk assessment and mitigation process for assigned projects; evaluate potential risks and develop preventive and corrective action plans;
- Coordinate all project-related meetings and support or lead presentations for project status reviews;
- Facilitate and maintain records of all internal and external communications relevant to assigned projects including agendas and meeting minutes;
- Prepare all project-related reports on project performance for both internal and external stakeholders;
- Monitor and present overview of project portfolio performance at periodic project review meetings;
- Represent and integrate the Satellite Healthcare culture through work ethics, values and outstanding customer service standards;
- Take initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up on customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.
