Assists in patient care by performance of routine and delegated duties in the Operating Room according to standards and policies of the hospital and department, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Support the hosptial mission by demonstrating concern and personalized service for all hosptial functions. Demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability in collaborating with other members of the heath care team to establish and achieve patient care goals.


Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Graduate from a Surgical Technology Program, an equivalent program, or prior equivalent job experience preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic technique, and patient care and the appropriate application of the knowledge
  • Computer literate
  • BLS
