Financial Counselor

Coral Shores Behavioral Health is an 80 bed state of the art behavioral health facility located in Stuart, Florida. The facility is an all adult, baker act receiving facility. This is a new facility and is currently being constructed. Coral Shores Behavioral Health is a subsidiary of Universal Health Services. UHS is one of the nation's largest and most respected healthcare management companies. We are pleased to announce the following position in which we are recruiting:

Financial Counselor - full time - Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

 

The Financial Counselor is responsible for verifying benefits and eligibility for potential and actual patient admissions, responsible for financial assessment of patients, determination of ability to pay, collection of deposits, negotiation of payment arrangements, securing financing of self-pay liability, identification of funding sources; some tracking, monitoring and reporting requirements.
