Madelia Community Hospital & Clinic seeks a dynamic, community-minded leader to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer.  

Reporting to the local community Board, the Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for providing executive leadership with overall administrative accountability for achieving the organizations strategic and operating goals. The CEO’s main focus will be to enhance operations, grow market share, and improve financial performance while achieving high levels of clinical quality, patient satisfaction and staff engagement.  The new CEO will have an understanding of small communities and the importance of fostering strong relationships through frequent communication, visibility and professional connections. 

 

We are looking for an experienced leader with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management level position, preferably in a critical access hospital environment.  A bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration or related discipline is required (a master’s degree is preferred).  Innovative thinking, superior communication skills and the ability to foster strong working relationships are characteristics essential for success.
